Without further adieu, I finally am uploading a quick blog about this year's Portland Bridal Show! It was another crazy weekend filled with thousands of people rolling through the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Sarah helped again on Saturday this year and then we had Cory help on Sunday. Both the ladies did a fantastic job--as they always do!
We met a ton of awesome vendors again this year. I would have to say my favorite new company is called "A Step Above." I can guarantee when I get married, I will be calling them for my wedding stage! I think it is such...

Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to make sure you knew that we travel all over the state. We are based out of Corvallis, Oregon but I travel up and down the I-5 corridor and into Washington. In fact, we will be in Seattle in September.
Typically, our events tend to be in the Portland area but this blog is to let everyone know we do in fact love to travel down to Eugene as it is so close to Corvallis. We have had events at the Eugene Fairgrounds, the Country Inn, and at a Eugene bar. We are slated to be at a winery close to Eugene later this summer as well.
Anyway, just a quick note...

What a FUN wedding this was!! Jess & Zach got married at Jessica's parents house in Salem, Oregon and they definitely knew how to party!! Her parents did a fantastic job getting the property ready for the big wedding. They brought in a large tent over a paved area, cleared out a nice cocktail area, and made a really cool dance floor over by their wood shed. I wish I had taken some pictures of the layout because they really did a great job!
Their wedding planner was Morgan Peterson of atime4memories. Morgan was awesome to work with. If anyone is in need of a wedding/event planner...

First of all, I always love a McMenamins so when Kristina told me they were getting married at McMenamins Edgefield I was pretty pumped! They have a lot of really cool venues and Edgefield is definitely one of them.
The reception was held in the "attic" which is a cool spot. The only problem with the Attic is that its on the third floor and there is no elevator to bring the booth up in. But, since my booth breaks down into several pieces it wasn't a big deal...I know there are a lot of other companies that would have problems getting their booths up to the attic!
So Simon and Kristina...

I'm excited to bring Smile Photo Booth back to Pacific University for their homecoming weekend on October 30th, 2011. I had a great time last year at the event as they brought in the Cherry Poppin' Daddies at the event as well.
I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from Pacific with this link attached! I think it's pretty cool, and am very proud that Pacific used Smile Photo Booth's pics for their marketing material on their web-site.
Pacific Also sent me the save the date card below. I'm also pretty excited to see this as the pictures are all from our booth!
Have a great day!

Jason and Anne picked a great day to get married as the weather was perfect here in the Willamette Valley.
I didn't realize you could rent Central Park in Corvallis for special events. Central Park is the perfect size for a smaller wedding which is all Jason and Anne needed. Central Park has a nice little gazebo located in the corner of the park where they had dancing. We were also located close to the gazebo and the booth was rockin' for 2 straight hours!
A few of my favorite pics:
You can view the entire album HERE
Congrats to Jason and Anne!

One of the great things about owning a photo booth rental company is that I get to go to many different types of events. People think that most of Smile Photo Booth's events are weddings. This is true, but I take the booth to so many other events as well. And Philomath's class of 2011 decided to have a photo booth for their All-Night-PARTY! I was pretty excited to be a part of this as I have a close family friend who graduated from Philomath this year so it was fun to be able to see her in her element! As you can tell from this pic, Andrea is not a shy girl and took full advantage of the photo...

Last weekend's wedding at The Governor Hotel was super fun! Seamora and Neil were a ton of fun to talk with leading up to the event and I had a feeling their wedding would be a blast...and it sure was!
The Governor Hotel was an incredible venue as well. Although I didn't get a whole lot of time to chat with the director of Jake's Catering, Erin had everything ready to roll for me. The staff was first class and were very impressive to watch. I had an excellent Rib-eye steak and the late night Mac n Cheese was the absolute best I have ever had!
Seamora and Neil had Eric Wright...

Another successful wedding on a great Saturday night in Portland for Smile Photo Booth! I had a great time with Kandi and Jasen's guests as the booth was rocking all night long!
Kandi's father, Randy was a lot of fun to talk with throughout the process and through the night of the wedding. He is a laid back Dad who absolutely loves his daughter! They had one heck of a first dance!
The ceremony and reception was featured at the Monarch Hotel . The staff was awesome to work with and they were on the top of their game for the evening!
Something I have not seen but I loved was having...

Lee and Lyra got married at the View Point Inn on Sunday, June 12th, 2011. What a great venue to have a wedding! Unfortunately it was a cloudy day with some rain mixed in but it was still beautiful! I am looking forward to bringing the booth back to this location on a sunny day in the summer!
Lee and Lyra had the services of Susan from Blush Bridal Consultation Group. Susan was very professional and extremely easy to work with on my end as well. I hope to work with her in the future!
Their photog was Bryce Jenkinson of Studio I do. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the pics...
